Not great but fine, that is where I am
Darkest clouds of the storm have passed
The stabbing winds still distort the sound
Some light can be seen in the distance but
Rain pierces the skin on contact
The skin on contact
The sky is black and gray and spewing
The piercing blades they've lost their edge

Look down upon what's left of me

Picking up the pieces
Of my broken mind

It seems that it had got expelled
A mile away from the raging storm
Tornado vanished overnight
Leaving behind misery and destruction
The sky is black and gray and spewing

The dark was light, the hope was gone
I have returned from the abyss
Took one step back, to prove them wrong
